William Larue Weller is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, in its 2025 release. It is made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky.
The mash bill is wheated, with wheat in place of rye, and the bourbon was aged in new charred American oak barrels. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at full barrel proof, 64.5% ABV.
On the nose there is brown sugar, vanilla bean, honey, cherry and toasted oak. The palate brings caramel, cinnamon, dark fruit, nutmeg, clove and charred wood. The finish is bold and spicy, with sweet grain, oak and barrel heat.
