William Lawson's Finest is a blended Scotch whisky from the 1980s, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. The William Lawson's name goes back to 1889, when E&J Burke registered the Lawson's Liqueur Whiskey trademark in Dublin. William Lawson was of Scottish origin and had moved to Ireland, where he joined Burke as its secretary. Blending moved to Coatbridge in the 1960s, after Martini & Rossi acquired the Lawson's blend and renamed it William Lawson's to avoid confusion with their Peter Dawson company. Martini & Rossi set up William Lawson's Distillers in 1972 and bought Macduff distillery in the same year.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
