Don Guido Solera Especial is a 20 Years Old Pedro Ximénez sherry from Williams & Humbert, supplied in a 50cl tube case.
The grapes are left to dry in the sun for 15 days. After fermentation the wine is fortified twice, then matured for twenty years by the Solera method.
It is dense and viscous, a bright mahogany-black in colour. The nose has figs and raisins with broad balsamic aromas. The palate is barely fresh, with a full, honeyed, intense sweetness.
