This is an 8 year old single malt from Laphroaig, bottled under the Williamson name by Càrn Mòr at 47.5% ABV. It was distilled in 2013 and matured in ex-bourbon hogsheads, with no extra finish. It is non-chill-filtered and uncoloured, limited to 1588 bottles.
The nose brings dry smoke, a salty sea breeze, and iodine and phenolic notes. The palate is powerful, with salty, iodine character and some smoke. The finish is medium in length, growing drier like a dying campfire.
