Caol Ila 14 Year Old is a single malt from the Caol Ila distillery on Islay, bottled by Wilson & Morgan at 58.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2007 and matured in oak casks for fourteen years, until 2021.
The nose combines smoke and marine notes with a hint of ripe fruit, light vanilla and sweet spice. On the palate, peat and smoke are balanced by a subtle sweetness, with iodine and salt. The finish is long and complex.
