Winglore Battle Creek Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

Winglore Battle Creek is a straight bourbon made in Virginia, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled without dilution to a lower strength. The nose opens with caramel and toasted oak, followed by baking spice, dried corn sweetness and a little vanilla. On the palate, brown sugar and toffee come first, then cinnamon bark and black pepper, building to charred oak and dark caramel. The finish is medium to long, with toasted grain, baking spice and dry oak tannin, and a trace of vanilla and light honey at the end.
