Winglore Single Barrel #7 Bourbon (75cl, 50.3%)

Winglore Single Barrel #7 is a bourbon from Virginia, bottled at 50.25% ABV (100.5 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It comes from a single cask, Barrel #7, and was not blended or vatted with whiskey from any other barrel. Tasting notes describe caramel, toasted oak, cinnamon, nutmeg and dried fruit on the nose. The palate is full-bodied, with brown sugar and butterscotch giving way to black pepper, clove, toasted grain, charred oak and leather. The finish is medium-long, with oak tannin, caramel and a dry spice that builds, and a little sweetness returning at the end.
