Wolfburn Holiday Edition is a single malt Scotch matured for a little over eight years. It marries whisky from two types of cask: Oloroso sherry hogsheads and first-fill Bourbon barrels.
The nose offers sweet sherry notes and dried fruit, followed by vanilla, with a touch of coffee and dark chocolate. The palate is juicy, with rich toffee and syrup, cocoa and vanilla, then autumn fruit and honey. The finish is soft, with vanilla fading to a trace of caramel.
