Wolfburn – Whisky Lovers Nagoya 2025 Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 57%)

This is a single cask Wolfburn single malt from the Caithness distillery, made for the Whisky Lovers Nagoya festival in Japan. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 57% ABV. The whisky was distilled in February 2015 and bottled in September 2024 from a sherry hogshead. It is bottled at natural colour and without chill-filtration, and the cask gives it a rich amber hue. The tasting notes mention dried fruits, dark chocolate and sweet spice on the nose. The palate offers raisins, toasted oak and warming cinnamon, followed by a lingering finish with sherry influence.
