This is an 11-year-old American single malt from Wolves Whiskey, released in collaboration with Bartender Magazine. It is a single-barrel bottling, Barrel #548, chosen by Noah Rothbaum and the Foley Family, and it yielded 252 bottles at 62% ABV (124 proof), without dilution.
The malt is imported and was distilled in double alembic pot stills, then aged in American oak with a medium toast and toasted heads. The whiskey was matured in the USA.
On the nose it offers spiced vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, warm oak and tobacco. The palate brings baked apples, toasted oak, black pepper, a little cocoa and leather, and the finish is long and sweet, fading into baking spices and soft oak.
