Woodford Reserve – Barrel Strength Kentucky Rye Whiskey (70cl, 62.6%)

This is a Kentucky rye whiskey from Woodford Reserve, bottled at barrel strength: 62.6% abv, or 125.1 proof, in a 70cl bottle. The higher proof is a step up from the 90.4 proof for which Woodford is known. It is made in the spirit of America's original rye whiskeys, where spice and tobacco lead. Fruit, floral notes and a subtle sweetness sit beneath them, and the strength brings out more pronounced spice.
