Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select is a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 45.2% ABV (90.4 proof). It is made from a blend of copper pot still and column still distillates, and Woodford Reserve was introduced in 1996.
The colour is a clear, brilliant honey amber. The nose has dried fruit, subtle mint, orange peel and cocoa, with vanilla and tobacco spice.
The palate is smooth and chewy, with toffee, caramel, cinnamon and dark chocolate alongside citrus and gentle oak spice. The finish is long and warm, with soft spice and a polished sweetness.
