Triple Pot Still is a bottled in bond Kentucky straight bourbon from Woodford Reserve's Distillery Series, in a 37.5cl bottle at 50% ABV. It was released to mark the brand's 30th anniversary.
It is made entirely from whiskey distilled in the distillery's three copper pot stills, and it honours Woodford Reserve's role in marrying pot still and column-distilled whiskey.
The nose is mulled apple and pear with cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, plus toasted coconut and hazelnut. On the palate warm baking spice leads into cooked apple and pear, then candied pecan. The finish is long, with sweet spices and pecan.
