Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is a Kentucky bourbon in a 75cl bottle, made by maturing the whiskey twice in separate barrels.
It spends time in a charred oak barrel first. It then moves to a second barrel that is deeply toasted before being lightly charred. This second barrel is said to draw out additional soft, sweet oak character, giving the bourbon a rich flavour and a deeper colour.
