Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 45.2% ABV (90.4 proof). It matures in two separate charred oak barrels, the second deeply toasted before it receives a light char, which gives a sweet oak emphasis and a rounded, full-bodied profile.
The nose brings dark fruit, caramel, honey and chocolate over toasted oak. Vanilla and dark caramel lead the palate, with hazelnut, apple and spice, and a creamy finish carries honeyed apple.
