This is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Woodford Reserve, drawn from the Double Oaked style and marked BML on the label. It comes in a 75cl bottle at 49% ABV (98 proof).
After its first maturation the bourbon is finished in a second oak barrel, which adds depth, sweetness and a more layered oak character.
On the nose it offers vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, brown sugar and baking spice. The palate is rich and rounded, with toffee, dark caramel, seasoned wood and cinnamon, and the finish is long and warming, with oak, vanilla and gentle spice.
