A Kentucky straight bourbon from Woodford Reserve Distillery in Woodford County, bottled at 45.2% ABV in a 200ml bottle.
The spirit is triple distilled in copper pot stills, and the mashbill is 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley. It matures in charred oak barrels in one of the state's oldest steam-heated rackhouses.
The nose is led by dried fruit with fresh mint, orange peel and cocoa. On the palate come toffee, caramel, citrus, cinnamon and dark chocolate, with a peppery rye thread. The finish is long and warm, with espresso, bitter chocolate and cinnamon.
