Woodford Reserve – Master's Collection #18 Historic Barrel Entry

This is the 2022 release in the Woodford Reserve Master's Collection, a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Woodford County distillery. It was created by Master Distiller Chris Morris and Assistant Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall. The idea behind it is barrel entry proof. The newly distilled spirit went into the barrel at 100 proof, a strength that reflects how the standard for filling casks has shifted over the past two centuries. The result is described as a rich, darkly robust expression of Woodford Reserve.
