Classic Malt is part of Woodford Reserve's 2013 Master's Collection release. It is a triple distilled whiskey made from 100% malted barley and aged in used bourbon barrels rather than new oak.
The colour is bright straw gold. The aroma is relatively subdued, with grain-store, haystack and dilute cocoa. The palate is lean, grassy and acidic with breakfast cereal undertones, followed by plenty of vanilla and touches of stewed fruit and berries.
