Woodford Reserve – Master's Collection Four Wood

A Kentucky bourbon from Woodford Reserve's Master's Collection. It was first aged in charred white oak, then moved into three other woods, Ruby Port, sherry and maple, before the components were brought back together. The aim was a layered, complex whisky, building on earlier releases in the series, and four types of cooperage are involved in the result. The nose is rich and decadent, while the palate is more subdued, with the emphasis on texture.
