Woodford Reserve – Master's Collection No. 22 Super Seasoned Oak (70cl, 50.2%)

This is Master's Collection No. 22 from Woodford Reserve, a 2026 bourbon release created under Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 100.4 proof (50.2% abv). It looks at the barrel before the bourbon ever touches the wood. The American oak staves were seasoned outdoors for five to seven years, which helps reduce harsh green tannins, and the bourbon then matured for nine years. The nose is caramel and vanilla with almond, cherry, dried red apple and cinnamon. The palate is velvety vanilla and caramel lifted by orange oils, cinnamon and clove. The finish is sweet, with warming cinnamon.
