Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Seasoned Oak

Woodford Reserve Seasoned Oak is a Kentucky bourbon from the Master's Collection. It was aged for seven years in new charred oak, then finished for a further eight months in seasoned oak. The seasoning came from staves that were air dried for three to five years before use. Plenty of wood spice runs alongside the sweet pot still character of the whiskey. On the palate, caramel, nutty toffee, fig, ripe berries and black cherry come first, followed by cinnamon, clove, cocoa powder, vanilla, polished leather and maduro tobacco. The finish is firmly dry.
