Woodford Reserve Masters Collection Brandy Cask Finish 2019 (37.5cl)

This is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky, released in 2019 as part of the Masters Collection. It comes in a 37.5cl bottle. The bourbon is made from a triple-distilled base in copper pot stills and first matured in new charred American oak. It then has a second maturation in casks that previously held brandy, which gives it a more European-leaning character than the standard Woodford Reserve while keeping its Kentucky identity. The brandy casks add dried fruit, raisin, grape and sweet fortified wine notes to the caramel and vanilla of the American oak.
