Woodford Reserve is a straight Kentucky bourbon in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled by hand in small batches, with triple distillation in pot stills.
The mash has a high proportion of rye, and the bourbon is matured for around six years. It is soft and balanced.
The nose is creamy and spicy, with oak, vanilla, dried fruit, coffee beans, caramel and a faint smokiness. The palate is soft, rich and full of flavour, and the finish is lightly spiced.
