Woodford Reserve is a whisky distilled in Kentucky, USA, in a 70cl bottle.
It is distilled in copper stills and matured in new, charred oak barrels, which bring vanilla, caramel and toasted wood.
The nose is dried fruit, sweet spice and a touch of citrus. The palate opens sweet before turning more robust and spicy, with dark chocolate, nutmeg and a hint of tobacco. The finish is long, with black pepper.
