Woodinville – Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Woodinville Straight Bourbon is a small-batch bourbon made from corn, rye and malted barley, all grown for the distillery on the Omlin Family farm in Quincy, Washington. The grains are mashed, distilled and filled into barrel at Woodinville, then moved to private barrel houses in Central Washington, where wide temperature swings help draw flavour from the oak. The barrel wood is seasoned outdoors for eighteen months before coopering, then slowly toasted and heavily charred. The nose offers crème brûlée and spice cabinet. The palate shows rich caramel, dark chocolate and vanilla bean, and the finish is sweet and lingering.
