Woodinville 8 Year Straight Rye is made by Woodinville Whiskey Co. in Washington State and bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is made from 100% rye grown on the Omlin family farm in Quincy. The whiskey is milled, mashed, distilled and aged on site, spending eight years in heavily toasted, lightly charred American oak barrels.
The nose offers brown sugar, molasses, clove and baking spice. On the palate come spiced honey, espresso, dried fruit and mocha over rye grain, and the finish is long and dry with pepper, oak tannin and vanilla.
