This is a seven-year-old Ardnamurchan single malt from Woodrow's of Edinburgh, part of its Warehouse Reserve range. It was distilled on 13 March 2018, matured in a first fill bourbon cask and bottled on 14 October 2025 at 55%. The colour is natural, it is not chill filtered, and 255 bottles were filled, each of 70cl.
Ardnamurchan sits on a remote western peninsula of the Highlands. The nose brings coastal air, fresh earth, poached pear and caramel cream. The palate is oily, with minerality, caramelised apples, white chocolate, custard creams and a hint of ginger. The finish is long and warming, with vanilla, nutmeg and continuing minerality.
