This is a nine-year-old Auchroisk single malt bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh for its Warehouse Reserve range. It was distilled on 4 April 2016 and bottled on 20 January 2026 at a cask strength of 53.2%, in a run of 312 bottles, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The whisky was finished for two years in PX sherry quarter casks made from American and European oak.
The nose brings rich toffee, cocoa, nutmeg and cereal. On the palate it is spiced, with treacle, dark chocolate, digestive biscuits, raisins and orange zest. The finish is long and drying, with dried fruits, ginger, clove and nutmeg.
