This is a 10 year old Braeval from Speyside, bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh in its Warehouse Reserve range. It was distilled on 14 August 2014 and bottled on 16 July 2025, at a cask strength of 50.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle with natural colour and without chill filtration.
It matured in a first fill oloroso sherry hogshead, and 415 bottles were filled. The sherry influence sits alongside Braeval's own character rather than overpowering it.
The nose has manuka honey, apple, apricot and peach. The palate is velvety, with golden syrup, Madeira cake, white chocolate, citrus, apple, vanilla and lemon. The finish is of moderate length, with gentle baking spices and lingering zest.
