This is a 10 year old Lowland single malt from Woodrow's of Edinburgh, released in its Warehouse Reserve range. The spirit comes from a distillery near Pencaitland and was distilled in October 2014, then bottled in May 2025 at a cask strength of 58% in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered, with an outturn of 287 bottles.
Most of its maturation was in a refill bourbon hogshead, followed by a four-year finish in first fill Oloroso and PX sherry quarter casks from Bodegas Fernando de Castilla.
The nose is floral, with rose petals, orange, lime and a touch of hay. The palate is silky, with wildflowers, honey cake, milk chocolate, banana loaf and walnuts. The finish is soft, with digestive biscuits, Earl Grey tea and a hint of cloves.
