This is a 46 year old Lowland single grain whisky from North British, bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh in its Warehouse Reserve range. It was distilled on 15 December 1978 and bottled on 16 July 2025.
It comes from a single second fill hogshead, and 107 bottles were filled at a cask strength of 53.1%, with natural colour and no chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has vanilla butter cream, dried fruit and honey. The palate is creamy, with milk chocolate, Victoria sponge, panna cotta, sweet oranges and sultanas under an oaky musk. The finish is long, with white chocolate, figs and Earl Grey tea.
