A Speyside blended malt distilled at Aldunie in September 1998 and matured for 27 years in a single refill American oak barrel. Bottled in July 2026 at 51.8% cask strength, it is non-chill filtered and natural colour, with 163 bottles from cask 20370/1998.
The nose brings apple, rhubarb, strawberry laces, buttercream, warm brioche, almond butter and orange blossom, followed by foam bananas, pear, peach and dried mango. The palate is rich and mouth-coating with pear, peach, foam bananas, buttery croissants, heather honey, toasted hazelnuts, gentle vanilla and dark berries. The finish is medium and elegant, with lingering apple, boiled sweets, candied ginger and a subtle earthy turmeric note.
