A teaspooned Campbeltown blended malt, matured for 10 years in a refill hogshead and bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh at its natural cask strength of 56% ABV. It comes from a single cask, filled into 263 bottles, and is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The release is described as bringing together tropical fruit sweetness, coastal salinity and an oily texture.
Sweet tropical fruit leads the nose, with vanilla, honey and aged leather. The palate is rich and oily, with mango, pineapple, bright citrus, maritime salt and a gentle oaky muskiness. The finish is long and warming, with orange zest, soft vanilla and lingering spice.
