This is a 15 year old Tobermory from the Isle of Mull, bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh at 52.4%. The whisky was distilled on 23rd October 2010 and bottled on 20th January 2026, giving 232 bottles in 70cl.
It matured in a refill butt and was then finished in a first-fill Sauternes barrique, and the peated style is part of its character.
The nose is honeyed and floral, with orchard fruits. On the palate, the distillery's mineral funk and spice meet the rich, syrupy sweetness of dessert wine. The finish is long, moving from sweetness towards a spicy or salty tang.
