This is a 33 year old Strathmill single malt from Speyside, bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh in its Warehouse Reserve range at a cask strength of 59.5%. It was distilled on 10 May 1991 and bottled on 14 May 2024, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a sherry hogshead and finished in a refill hogshead. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered, and 157 bottles were filled.
The nose is a musky barrel bouquet set against baked apples and honey. The palate is velvety, with tobacco, citrus zest, sultanas and nutmeg. The finish brings bitter orange peel, figs and red berries.
