This Tamdhu is a 10-year-old Speyside single malt from Woodrow's of Edinburgh, part of its Warehouse Reserve range. It was distilled in September 2014 and began in a refill hogshead before spending 21 months in a first fill European oak PX sherry quarter cask. It was bottled in May 2025.
Strength is 58.6%, with natural colour and without chill filtration, in an outturn of 131 bottles.
Caramel, orange zest, crisp apple and mango, with a wisp of tobacco, make up the nose. The oily palate offers toffee pennies, poached pear, mango, sultanas and hazelnuts. The long, spiced finish brings white pepper, star anise and candied ginger.
