This is a 10 year old Highland single malt from Teaninich, released by Woodrow's of Edinburgh in its Warehouse Reserve range. It was distilled on 20 November 2013 and bottled on 14 May 2024 at a cask strength of 56.8% ABV.
The whisky matured in a bourbon hogshead, then spent 21 months in a first-fill American oak oloroso sherry hogshead, cask 707145. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour, with an outturn of 289 bottles.
The nose has apple, tart red berries and golden syrup, with a petrichor note. The palate is full-bodied, with fresh hay, chamomile, gelatin sweets, orange peel and a hint of leather. The finish is bitter-sweet, with cloves and cocoa.
