Woodson Team 144 Michigan Bourbon Commemorative Bottle (45%)

Woodson Team 144 is a commemorative Kentucky bourbon bottled at 90 proof (45%). It was aged for 30 months in Owensboro, Kentucky, and is made with Kentucky-grown corn, most of it from Daviess County. The mash bill is 70% corn, 21% winter rye and 9% malted two-row and six-row barley. The higher rye content brings warming spice to the nose and palate, and the bourbon has a rich amber colour. On the nose there is cinnamon, dried cherry and a light leather note. The palate offers cinnamon, vanilla, caramel and chocolate mint, followed by a long, dry finish of oak and pepper with a caramel thread.
