Woodson Team 144 University of Michigan Go Blue Commemorative Bottle (45%)

This is a commemorative edition of Woodson Whiskey's Team 144 straight bourbon, bottled at 90 proof (45%) after 30 months of ageing in Owensboro, Kentucky. It is laser engraved with 'Go Blue' on the front and the University of Michigan 'M' on the back. The bourbon is made from Kentucky-grown corn, mostly from Daviess County, with a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% winter rye and 9% malted two-row and six-row barley. The higher rye content brings warming spice. Cinnamon, dried cherry and light leather show on the nose, and the palate offers cinnamon, vanilla, caramel and chocolate mint. The finish is long and dry, with oak, pepper and caramel.
