This is a ten-year-old straight bourbon from World Whiskey Society, finished in Port casks. It comes from a run of 20,000 bottles, each with a stopper in the form of a knight.
The nose offers mixed berries, tobacco leaf, chocolate cake and orange marmalade. The palate is velvety and sweet, with cocoa powder, chocolate-covered banana and vanilla fudge. The finish brings nutty chocolate, red fruit and tea leaves, with a touch of cinnamon spice. A little water is said to bring out lemon wafers, vanilla frosting and raspberry danish.
