A 10 year old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at cask strength, 52% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. It is the second collaboration between the independent bottler World Whiskey Society and Ducks Unlimited, the wetlands and waterfowl conservation charity.
The whiskey matured in new charred American oak. This special edition comes in a lacquered wooden case resembling an antique hunting rifle case, with an embossed emerald-and-gold bottle, a mallard-duck topper and an individual number. A portion of proceeds supports conservation.
The tasting notes list spices, dark chocolate, smoked hickory, dried date, licorice, black cherry, dark sugars and molasses.
