World Whiskey Society Ducks Unlimited is a 100-proof straight bourbon distilled in Indiana, bottled at 50% in a 75cl hand-painted ceramic decanter sculpted as a mallard in flight.
It is a collaboration with Ducks Unlimited, the North American wetland and waterfowl conservation organisation.
Vanilla and toasted oak lead the nose, with cinnamon, honey and a little citrus rind. The palate is caramel and vanilla with baking spice and a touch of citrus, and the finish brings oak, caramel and cinnamon, ending in dry oak tannins.
Tasting Notes
Warm vanilla and toasted oak, with subtle cinnamon, honey and faint citrus rind
Soft, slightly sweet entry of caramel and vanilla, then toasted oak, baking spice, honey and a touch of citrus
Medium and warming, with oak, caramel and cinnamon, tapering into dry oak tannins
