World Whiskey Society Masterfully Crafted is a 15 year old Kentucky straight bourbon, matured in ex-Buffalo Trace barrels. It is bottled in small batches at 65.3% ABV (130.6 proof), uncut and non-chill filtered. It is an exclusive World Whiskey Society release and was not produced by Buffalo Trace Distillery. The bottle is a flame-shaped decanter with rose gold detailing.
The nose has rich caramel, dried cherries, toasted oak and dark vanilla, with hints of tobacco and leather. The palate is full-bodied, with dark chocolate, roasted nuts, cinnamon and spice over sweet corn and aged wood. The finish is long and warm, with spice, charred oak and a silky sweetness.
