House Pour is a blended whisky from Woven Whisky Makers, a group of friends who set up a small blending room by the old dock in Leith. It is bottled at 43.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The blend combines Canadian corn whisky at 43.9%, South African corn whisky at 35.1% and Irish wheat single grain at 7.9%, with two blended malts: a Speyside malt with PX sherry at 4.4% and a Scottish malt with Oloroso sherry at 8.8%.
It is meant to be easy to approach for people new to whisky while still being a pleasure to drink, and it is described as full of fruit and flowers.
