Writers' Tears Copper Pot is an Irish whiskey that vats single pot still and single malt whiskeys together. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey is triple distilled, made entirely from barley in copper pot stills, and matured in flame charred bourbon barrels.
It is gently spiced, with ginger and butterscotch over background notes of toasted oak. The long finish carries subtle milk chocolate and almonds.
