An Irish whiskey made in small batches by Walsh Whiskey in County Carlow. It blends aged single malt with single pot still whiskey.
It matures in two kinds of oak: American oak barrels from Kentucky and French oak Cognac casks.
The nose offers summer fruit, vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate are sweet caramel, ripe orchard fruits, dark chocolate and subtle spice. The finish is long and warming, with oak tannin, baking spice and creamy malt.
