Writers' Tears Japanese Cask Finish is a blended Irish whiskey in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 55% ABV. It is a single cask of triple distilled Irish single pot still married with Irish single malt.
The whiskey was finished in Japanese Mizunara oak from the foothills of Mount Fuji. It is bottled at cask strength and is non-chill-filtered.
The nose offers green fruits, apple and pear, over a distinct pot still base. On the palate vanilla and clove give way to sandalwood, coconut and Japanese incense.
