Writers Tears Pure Pot Still (70cl, 40%)

Writers Tears Pure Pot Still is an Irish whiskey bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Strictly speaking it is a blend, but it contains only pot still whiskey and malt whiskey, with no grain whiskey. Its pot still character is wrapped in soft honey tones, alongside bright kumquat and citrus. The arrival alternates between softer and harder waves: the harder ones are bitter and firmly pot still, while the sweeter notes dissolve quickly and leave a trail of acacia honey.
