Writers' Tears Single Pot Still is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, made from 100% barley and triple distilled. It was matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry and Sicilian Marsala casks, and pays tribute to the history of distilling and to Irish writers.
The nose has toffee apple, orchard fruit and warm baking spice. The palate is chewy and sweet, with velvety PX richness and bold pot still character. The finish is balanced, with candied fruit, soft oak and lingering Marsala warmth.
